Alliance and Leicester sticks to anti-virus deal

NEWS UK financial service group Alliance & Leicester has renewed its IT security contract with anti-virus vendor Sophos. The deal sees Sophos protecting Alliance & Leicester's servers and workstations from varieties of malware such as computer viruses, trojans and worms. The deal covers 7,000 computer users within the Alliance & Leicester Group. The Alliance & Leicester has been using Sophos since 1995, with its software deployed throughout the organisation. No value was put on the deal.
