It may me old but it can still get about...

NEWS Channel 5's Saturday morning kids' show the Powerpuff Girls is the latest victim of the Funlove virus which first hit computer networks two years ago. Warner Bros released a DVD showing their latest adventures, including interactive games, and, helpfully, throwing in the Funlove virus free of charge. Warner Bros has admitted the mistake and recalled all copies of the DVD, which so far has only gone on sale in the US. Anti-virus vendor Sophos recommends that anyone who has bought the DVD "Meet the Beat Alls" to return it or destroy it. Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos Anti-Virus, said: "There's no excuse for this infection, FunLove is easy to detect and patch against." Warner Bros made the mistake despite the fact that patches have been available for the virus since detection. If contracted, the virus can shut down the computer, giving unrestricted file access, and automatically spreading between networked PCs. When Funlove was discovered Dell became a high-profile victim, with production suspended for four days at its Limerick factory after an attack. Despite its age the virus still regularly appears on lists of the top ten viruses in circulation.
