Symantec shuffles its pack

All change at the top...

NEWS Symantec has appointed a new president and chief operating officer and expanded the size of its executive team. Former IBM executive John Schwarz takes the reigns as president and COO, taking over from chairman and CEO John Thomson. The move gives Thomson more freedom to focus on external expansion. Analysts have predicted that Symantec will grow revenues by around seven per cent this year.
