Urges customers to apply is 'as swiftly as possible'...

NEWS Microsoft has finally released a full patch for the vulnerability in the Simple Network Message Protocol revealed by CERT almost one month ago. Microsoft originally released a work-around for the problem on 12 February but yesterday updated this with a full software patch for systems running on Windows XP, Windows 2000 and NT. Microsoft is urging customers to apply it as swiftly as possible. It has still to release patches for other platforms.
