Virus warning: Gibe-A worm in the wild

Beware of emails claiming to be Microsoft security updates...

NEWS Security experts have warned that new variant of Gibe-A email worm is in the wild. The malware spreads by attaching itself to an email which claims to contain a security upgrade from Microsoft. If the payload is delivered the worm installs a number of files on PCs. The worm also leaves machines vulnerable to outside control. The worm also emails itself to all the addresses in the user's email account.
