NEWS Network Associates has acquired McAfee.com after increasing its all-stock bid. McAfee.com management approved the deal after NAI boosted its offer of 16 per cent, an earlier offer made three weeks ago was rejected as being "inadequate". NAI now owns 75 per cent of the anti-virus specialist it spun-off from itself in 1999.
