NEWS The FBI is investigating the theft of thousands of personal records from a US credit agency. More than 13,000 credit reports and other details were stolen from Experian Information Solutions. The FBI is not yet sure how the robber managed to hack into Experian. The hacker collected work and home addresses, social security numbers and bank details and is said to have then posed as an employee of car giant Ford to contact people pretending to make checks on behalf of the company.
