KaZaA users vulnerable after sharing blunders

NEWS Users of the KaZaA peer-to-peer file sharing program are putting themselves at risk by accidentally sharing their private files with other users on the network. Researchers at HP Labs found that over a 12 hour period, there were 443 instances of unintentional file loading by individuals apparently oblivious to their errors. Furthermore, additional research indicated there are users on the network willing to exploit these mistakes. Dummy files, such as Credit Card.xls, were placed on the network by the research team. This particular file was downloaded four times by individual users over a 24-hour period.
