NEWS Hacker group Hacktivismo has released its much-touted software which lets users send emails anonymously. Hacktivismo members have worked on the software for two years, with the purpose of allowing users to communicate without censorship. Called Camera/Shy, the firewall-defeating software was released on Saturday and is rumoured to be the first instalment of software releases designed to create anonymous networks on the net - particularly important to people living under oppressive governments. The future technologies will allow users to configure decentralised virtual private networks (VPNs) to make tracing them impossible.
