CSC bags $58m FBI security deal

NEWS CSC has won a lucrative $58m contract to help boost the security of IT systems at the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Under the terms of the "task order" CSC will be responsible for providing certification, accreditation and other IT security services to the FBI's information security division.

The agreement is initially for one year with four additional one-year extension options, worth $58m in total for CSC if they are all exercised by the FBI.

Other US contractors who will work with CSC on the deal are Cynergy Group, Health-Tek Alliance, Ingersoll Consulting, Knowledge Consulting Group, Missing Link Communications, Trinity Technologies Group and Vigilant Services.
