The RSA Conference being held in San Francisco last week brought together information security professionals to discuss the cyber threats looming beneath our fingertips. At the conference, artist Alex Dragulescu showed off his new artwork depicting computational representations of code using actual code from these viruses, collected with help from cyber security firm MessageLabs.
Here is the MyDoom email worm that was said to have infected one in every 12 emails worldwide in early 2004.

interesting visualisations, they have been around for a while though
what would be nice, although a bit far fetched and scifi at the moment, would be a way to visualise the software on your PC in a similar manner in real time as one of these little monsters attacks
then of course you can turn it into a game and fly around the visualisation nuking the baddies before they do any real damage
... hmm so you could use your kids as anti virus software .... I wonder exactly how difficult this would be
I'm in a bit of a flippant mood today, just in case you hadn't guessed
