A new take on computer imagery

By James Martin on 27 April 2009 13:16

Fake anti-spyware program Rogueware Spysheriff will slow a computer and display pop-up ads. After MessageLabs intercepted these codes and diffused them so they were rendered inoperative, Dragulescu built an application to analyse them and used their values to create 3D visualisations.

interesting visualisations, they have been around for a while though

what would be nice, although a bit far fetched and scifi at the moment, would be a way to visualise the software on your PC in a similar manner in real time as one of these little monsters attacks

then of course you can turn it into a game and fly around the visualisation nuking the baddies before they do any real damage

... hmm so you could use your kids as anti virus software .... I wonder exactly how difficult this would be

I'm in a bit of a flippant mood today, just in case you hadn't guessed
