Some iPhones have come under attack from a worm that replaces the devices' default wallpaper with a picture of Rick Astley - the pop star whose 'Never Gonna Give You Up' song is the subject of the Rickrolling prank craze.
The first reports of the worm, which affects jailbroken iPhones, appeared over the weekend in Australia.
Security companies have warned owners of jailbroken iPhones to change root log-in passwords immediately.

It's not so awesome, suckers.
Pretty limited attack vector:
1. iPhone HAS to be jailbroken
2. ssh daemon HAS to be installed and running
3. root password MUST be unchanged from default and certificate only login not enabled. Those who know about ssh et al with almost certainly do this anyhow; those who blindly follow the many HOWTOs out there will find most of them tell you to change the root passwd.
Just wanted to put the story straight - the headline implies ALL iPhones are at risk.

Is a jailbroken phone one that has been hacked to work on any network, if so serves them right......
Should have bought a HTC :)

Jailbroken != Unlocked
@Anonymous - FYI Jailbreaking gives the phone the ability to use apps *other* than those obtained from iTunes. Unlocking gives the ability to work on any network.
Maybe if the offerings from O2 here in UK and AT&T in the USA were less about customer lock-in and their data networks performed better customers wouldn't be interested in unlocking!
