In Brief: Dublin University benefits from IBM support

NEWS IBM is donating $1m (£0.6m) of kit to Dublin City University's Mulhuddart Campus. Made up of 100 network stations, a high-end server, software, storage devices and services the gear is to help improve the university's computer science facility. Over 1000 students will benefit from the new equipment. IBM claimed in a statement, that the deal underlines its support for Ireland's software industry and the role of young people in contributing to the industry in the future.
