In brief: French firms get ecommerce boost

By Sarah Left, 22 July 1998 17:38

NEWS French companies will get help with ecommerce documentation from the Parisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the French Association for Electronic Commerce and Exchange. The two bodies issued a standard contract for ecommerce, based on mail order contracts, to fill the legal vacuum surrounding the issue. The document is a check-list of standard clauses for electronic sales that lets companies pick and choose the clauses needed for their business type. It can be downloaded free at www.ccip.fr.
