NEWS Database developer Informix yesterday announced profits of $12.3m over $174m revenues. Company officials said the success is a sign that Informix has achieved steady growth, following major restructuring at the end of 1997. Alan Kerr, Informix VP for UK, Middle East and Africa, told Silicon: "We want people to see us as a solid, conservative company. The last couple of quarters have been very difficult, but we are now aiming for new customers and 20 per cent profits.
