Lorien chief takes the rap

NEWS Troubled UK IT consultancy and contractor, Lorien, has demoted its chairman and chief executive, Michael Heeley, to non-executive director. His responsibilities have been divided between the finance director and managing director. Lorien recently posted a fall in profits after one of its biggest clients, UBS, was the subject of a takeover. The company also complained it was suffering indirectly from the recent downturn in the UK financial services sector.
