NEWS Sun's picoJava licensees have finally unveiled their business plans for developing the technology for embedded devices. Fujitsu said it will target its products at digital consumers and produce smart and handheld devices as well as car navigation systems. NEC claimed it will use picoJava in its controller products such as home appliances, vending machines and telecommunications systems. And Siemens Semiconductor said it will use the technology in its smartcard chips.
