NEWS Nine of Amazon.com's top trading rivals have formed their own shopping mall which goes live today. CDNow, eToys and Reel.com are three of the traders behind the new venture called Shopperconnection.com. Each of the companies will be offering a different kind of product which include music, software, toys and books. The retailers hope to benefit from the traffic each of their partners attract. Amazon.com's competition in Europe is also warming up with last week's deal between AOL and bookselling rival, Barnes and Noble which sees bol.com - Barnes and Noble's online division - become AOL's sole bookselling partner.
