NEWS Ecommerce software vendor, Commerce One has acquired VEO Systems for an undisclosed sum. The buyout of VEO - a pioneer in commercial XML (Extensible Markup Language) applications - is a major step forward in solving core problems encountered when trying to set up online trading systems, according to Commerce One. The company will integrate VEO's XML technology with its own Commerce3 Chain software, to provide a platform for electronic ordering and payments within the organisation and amongst its suppliers.
