Oracle adds Java to Application Server

NEWS Oracle has outlined a roadmap for its Application Server with the latest version available in beta next month. The software includes Java standards such as Enterprise JavaBeans, Java Server Pages and Java Servlets and is available for download from the Oracle Technology Network at http://technet.oracle.com Still offering support for legacy applications - in languages including C++ and Perl - the company claims the system will bond databases and applications written in multiple languages.
