Petrol stations get sunny outlook from BP-Amoco

NEWS BP-Amoco is planning to use solar energy to power everything from computers to security systems at 200 of its service stations. The move will see the oil giant install solar panels in all new outlets in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. The $50m 2-year project will see 400 panels installed on canopies at stations in eleven countries.
