Acta upgrades data tool for Peoplesoft

NEWS ERP (enterprise resource planning) application vendor, Acta Technology, has released the latest version of its data extraction tool, which now offers support for Peoplesoft as well as SAP users. ActaWork 3.0 has been certified for Peoplesoft Enterprise Warehouse for loading data from Informix, Microsoft and Oracle databases. The product has also been upgraded to run on HP-UX; the previous version only supported Windows NT. Geoff Coombes, vice president of marketing at Acta, said: "Initially, everyone had Windows NT - they only wanted to develop on that platform as it was the most common. But now they port to Unix to scale it up."
