PeopleSoft goes back to college

NEWS ERP (enterprise resource planning) vendor PeopleSoft has launched an administration and information system aimed at colleges and universities. PeopleSoft says Student Administration is designed to support new trends like Internet-enabled lifelong learning programmes, increased competition in the higher education market and a reduction in government spending on universities. The system includes a central database for the details of everyone connected with the university and components for everything from recruitment to student financials.
