Bank of Scotland unveils dial-an-ISA

NEWS Bank of Scotland Banking Direct is to sell ISAs (Individual Savings Accounts) over the phone using ICL-built systems. The call centre-based service allows customers to apply for ISAs at any time of day or night, including weekends and bank holidays. According to the bank, its long-term relationship with ICL has already reaped rewards by improving efficiency in arranging loans and other personal savings products by up to 300 per cent.
