Sybase bridges the industry divide

NEWS Database vendor Sybase has launched four data warehouse applications specially adapted for the insurance, healthcare, telecommunications and retail banking industries. Each package contains applications specifically customised towards the relevant sector to help companies order their business intelligence. The product - called The Industry Warehouse Studios - contains a core set of applications which help companies communicate across industry-specific divides. For example, an insurance company using the studio will be able to work more seamlessly with a healthcare firm, claims the company.
