Novell to release NDS for Linux

NEWS Novell is to release a Linux version of its NDS (Novell Directory Services) software before the end of the year. The company made the announcement at the Brainshare conference in Nice, France. Meanwhile, the firm said it will acquire US-based network software vendor, Netoria, for an undisclosed amount. The move will see Novell integrate Netoria's network administration products into NDS. Novell also unveiled the latest version of NDS. Existing NDS users can download version 8.0 of the product from the http://www.novell.com site.
