NEWS Canadian Internet company, Informission, has acquired ecommerce and intranet specialist, Le Groupe SoftSysteme, as part of its aim to lead the market for integrated Web solutions. SoftSystemem's secure Internet technology - called GSS-Himalaya - fits in perfectly with Informission's own Web technology, according to both companies. The companies also guarantee the combination of technology will bring more value to users aiming to set up intranet and extranet implementations.
