Primavera unveils project management suite

NEWS Primavera Systems has unveiled a project management suite to help users jointly monitor projects. Called TeamPlay, the software enables users to collaborate on projects and send back live feedback. Users can also indicate when work has to be completed and how long has been spent on each as well as carry out risk assessments and impact analysis. A database stores information on employee skills so the IT manager can match assignments to appropriate people. The project Web site offers a communal site where managers can post project details, reports and documents for accessing from an Intranet. TeamPlay is compatible with Microsoft and Oracle but pricing is not yet available.
