ERP fails business expectations

NEWS Most companies would not choose the same ERP (enterprise resource planning) vendor again, according to research commissioned by Constellar. The study by the application integration company found that ERP is also failing business expectations. It says that most project managers vastly underestimate the cost and complication of application integration in the planning stages. That is why ERP implementations so often go over time and budget allowances, the report claims.
