Online suppliers bite into healthcare market

NEWS The online healthcare market will be worth $1.7bn by 2003, according to research from Jupiter Communications. The company believes online-only suppliers are fuelling this growth at the expense of traditional 'bricks and mortar' pharmacists. The report warns traditional retailers to sort out their Web strategies or risk losing the market. The report estimates the total market for healthcare products will be worth over $205bn by 2003.
