Belgacom unifies order management operations

NEWS Belgian telco, Belgacom has purchased an order management system from telecoms software supplier, Amdocs. The Amdocs Order Management system will replace six different ordering applications currently in use at Belgacom. It will cover all Belgacom's business areas, including wireline, data services and paging. The telco expects the system to cut the time it takes to process orders and make it easier to offer new products and services to customers. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
