NEWS US database marketing firm, InfoUSA, has announced plans to buy Donnelly Marketing for $200m in cash. InfoUSA maintains records of around two million businesses and consumers across the US, and provides listings for Web sites such as Yahoo! and InfoSpace.com. Donnelly is the database arm of the US' largest payments processor, First Data. InfoUSA will gain details of around 180 million users in the deal. The company claims the purchase will increase annual revenue by 43 per cent According to US reports, the sell-off will allow First Data to concentrate on electronic commerce.
