NetIQ strikes it rich with Shell NT deal

NEWS Shell Services International has signed NetIQ to manage its Microsoft Windows NT worldwide server infrastructure. NetIQ's AppManager software will be used to manage over 1,500 distributed NT servers and monitor other applications such as Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server. Shell Services said that with its NT servers running a mixture of applications and situated in remote locations, it required a system to be set up to be centrally managed.
