NEWS Security software company, Cyrano, has unveiled its latest intranet and Internet network testing kit. The Network Security Testing Plus (NST+) detects and helps resolve weaknesses in networks, firewalls, systems and databases. The software documents any vulnerability which could leave a system open to attack from hackers and recommends what kind of action should be taken to plug the gaps. According to Cyrano, daily checks should be carried out and the configuration of networks and firewalls constantly tested to ensure the integrity of company information is maintained.
