Equant expands IP-based Internet service

NEWS Network service provider, Equant, has announced the expansion of its IP-based Internet service which it claims will bolster corporate intranets in 100 countries. Equant supplies Internet access, email, intranet, virtual private network and discussion group services in one package. The IP-based global integrated virtual private network (iVPN) can offer users every type of data transport they need, including frame relay, asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) or integrated voice and data. Equant claims access to intranet or Internet through this service will be quicker and more efficient because the network is seamless.
