Nortel signs small call centre deal

NEWS Nortel Networks has announced its first UK contract for a call centre with less than 40 seats. Faithful & Gould (F&G), a maintenance management company, will use Nortel's Symposium Express at its London helpdesk to support clients including Esso and Texaco. F&G regional director, Chris Kukielka, said he chose the product for its scalability and its ability to forward calls automatically to operators with the appropriate expertise.
