NEWS Printing house, Ocean Reprographics has introduced a workflow management system from Imation which it claims will double its production capacity. The £40,000 installation comprises an Imation Windows NT server together with other storage and back-up facilities. The Leeds-based printer said it needed a system tailored to its store, access and reproduction needs, and decided Imation's product provided the best level of organisation and efficiency. The main benefit is that Imation's product allows Ocean Reprographics to store a large amount of material online rather than on CD Rom, which can cause delays in workflow.
