Swedish comms outfit commits to Corba

NEWS Swedish communications company, Telenordia, has signed an agreement with application development organisation, Inprise, to deploy a Web-based customer care system. Telenordia will standardise on Inprise's Visibroker Corba technology in all future software development. The company will also use Inprise's application server to provide the infrastructure to enable customers to open and modify online accounts. However, Telenordia itself will provide the Web interface needed to allow customers to register for Net access services and personal telephony packages.
