Nexor offers US firms email regulation product

NEWS UK firm, Nexor, is offering US companies the ability to check the content of incoming and outgoing emails with the use of its secure messaging software. The Interceptor software product, which is to be launched this week, will use pattern-recognition technology from Autonomy, and will permit IT departments to check the content of emails and attachments. Once checks are completed, messages are forwarded to the appropriate addresses in accordance with the company's email policy. Running on an email server, the software will also identify junk mail and viruses.
