Virus writers to exploit run-up to Y2K

NEWS Wick Hill is warning companies that concentrating solely on Y2K-compliance problems could leave them open to a spate of "millennium viruses". Wick Hill MD, Ian Kilpatrick, predicts that virus creators will attempt to exploit the turbulent period to release further variations "into the wild" in the hope that system administrators will interpret virus activity as Y2K-compliance problems.
