NEWS Barclays has installed a workflow system to help automate its paper based administration system. The high street bank has licensed Staffware 97, which it will later upgrade to Staffware 2000, to manage its Retail Finance Services. The software is currently used throughout the bank including its Supplier Development programme. Staffware will also provide Barclays with helpdesk facilities, maintenance and engineering support. In a statement Mark Dixon, IT director at Barclays, said that the system would enable the bank to better manage customer information.
