Novell goes soft on US army

NEWS The US army has signed a single contract with Novell to deliver, maintain and upgrade directory services across all army activities. The blanket agreement, known as a Master License Agreement (MLA), aims to simplify the ordering process. It will enable the US army to purchase Novell products at the lowest available prices, saving tax-payers' money. A US army spokeswoman said the single contract will also make available a broader range of software for managing the army's UNIX and NT networks.
