NEWS Nortel Networks has been selected by Swisscom to provide a high-speed communications network for Telecom'99 trade fair being held in Geneva this October. The Network will act as an Internet and multimedia link through the conference, allowing exhibitors to demonstrate products to visitors inside and outside via the Web. Featuring on the network will be four main demonstrations covering optical Internet, Internet telephony, wireless Internet and intranet services.
