NEWS Enterprise management specialist, Intentia, has unveiled the latest release of its flagship product, Movex, enabling manufacturers to schedule production and maintenance orders simultaneously. The Swedish software company claims the integration of its Movex Maintenance and Movex Advanced Production Planner products will allow companies to automatically schedule production orders against the available production capacity and raw materials. According to Chris Cooper, director of Intentia's Plant Maintenance Centre, the latest release represents a significant step forward for manufacturers enabling them to fully integrate with existing ERP systems and measure benefits across the supply chain.
