NEWS Irish Distribution Group DCC's hi-tech subsidiary, SerCom Solutions, has launched a supply chain management service. The services will include procurement, project management, warehousing, just-in-time delivery and ecommerce products. In a written statement, Jim Flavin, chief executive and deputy chairman of DCC said the growth of ecommerce meant companies wanted more efficient distribution and better inventory management. The company currently counts 3Com, Dell, Canon and Nortel Networks among its list of customers.
