NEWS Oracle is to combine its Portal-to-Go with Motorola's Java based handset and Voice Markup Language. Oracle claims the combined offering will enable operators to make any Web-based information available instantly through the handset. Services already built into the Portal-to-Go, launched Wednesday, include travel, auctions, banking and messaging. Other companies testing the services include France's Cegetel, Germany's E-Plus and Telia.
