Cap Gemini models electricity industry

NEWS The OM London Exchange and Cap Gemini have unveiled a simulator designed to model the electricity industry following the review of Electricity Trading Arrangements. The screen-based Virtual Power Exchange aims to teach market participants how to use exchange-traded electricity contracts - the system to be implemented in the UK next year. John Geoghegan, associate director of Cap Gemini, said the system will help companies prepare to trade short-term electricity.
