Euro-fear could cost UK manufacturers

NEWS UK manufacturers are in danger of missing out in Europe because they don't see the single currency as an IT issue, according to a report published by Bull. In a survey of 250 manufacturing businesses, researchers found that over half see euro integration simply as a sales and business problem rather than an IT issue. According to Bull, despite manufacturing having the largest proportion of European-based clients, the industry is the most anti-euro of all business sectors.
