NEWS SAP is to change its front office strategy to focus more heavily on CRM instead of its traditional ERP market. Hasso Plattner, chairman of SAP, said in a briefing that customer relationship management software will be a "major driver" for the company's revenue. Plattner predicted revenue from CRM and related projects will account for $200m worth of business. But he stressed it is a conservative estimate. SAP's CRM suite is expected to be released by early next year.
